As an inside salesman at Volland Electric for over 25 years he has had the fortune to meet hundreds of great people as customers and fellow employees. Several great friendships blossomed because Bob has always been a likeable guy who would do anything for anyone. Bob's passions include golf & bowling, and along with fellow employee Jim Tuohy are members of the Deerwood Men's Golf Club in North Tonawanda. Family members and friends of Bob Pavone want to thank everyone who came to his benefit on Saturday November 11th 2006 at the Buffalo Irish Center, on 245 Abbott Road (near Stevenson St.) Bob was amazed at the turnout, with an estimated 500 people in attendance and many he had never meet before. He is sorry if he didn't get to speak with each and every one of you. Your contributions have helped the family in their time of need while Bob is undergoing treatment for Stage IV Esophageal Cancer. Treatment is difficult enough to get through without the additional financial worries of everyday life and the responsibility of raising a 5- year old granddaughter. Esophageal Cancer Awareness Bob and Cheryl are members of Gilda's Club of WNY. In October, they were asked to take part in a short film to tell everyone about the many benefits of Gilda's Club. The movie debuted on October 25th at Shanghi Red's Restaurant for Gilda's Red Door Breakfast and it raised over $190,000 for the organization.
