We All Miss You Bob

A message from Cheryl Pavone

I participated in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in Dearborn, Michigan on May 3 and May 4, 2008. This is a charity that truly means a lot to me. Thank you all very much in for helping out and with your continued support.

August 5, 1956 - January 9, 2008

January 9, 2008, the Good Lord called Bob home to Heaven. Bob touched the lives of many and we all loved him and will miss him dearly. Everyone can always look back at all the fond memories of time well spent with him. Our prayers and sympathies go out to his wife Cheryl and their families.

Bob's wishes were that people could make donations in his name to Gilda's Club of WNY. Bob, Cheryl and Diamond received lots of support from the staff and members of their group. To all of you have made a donation to Gilda's and to the family, thank you very much.

We encourage all to leave the families a message on the Buffalo News & the Amigone.com Guestbooks, as well as the one at the bottom of this page.

Welcome Family & Friends of Bob Pavone

Throughout the years, Bob Pavone has touched the lives of many people. As an inside salesman at Volland Electric for over 25 years he has had the fortune to meet hundreds of great people as customers and fellow employees. Several great friendships blossomed because Bob has always been a likeable guy who would do anything for anyone. Bob's passions include golf & bowling, and along with fellow employee Jim Tuohy are members of the Deerwood Men's Golf Club in North Tonawanda. Jim says he is affectionately known as "Big Red" by his peers there.

Bob & Cheryl Thank You For Your Help!

Family members and friends of Bob Pavone want to thank everyone who came to his benefit on Saturday November 11th 2006 at the Buffalo Irish Center, on 245 Abbott Road (near Stevenson St.) Bob was amazed at the turnout, with an estimated 500 people in attendance and many he had never meet before. He is sorry if he didn't get to speak with each and every one of you. Your contributions have helped the family in their time of need while Bob is undergoing treatment for Stage IV Esophageal Cancer. Treatment is difficult enough to get through without the additional financial worries of everyday life and the responsibility of raising a 5- year old granddaughter.

Bob and Cheryl are members of Gilda's Club of WNY. In October, they were asked to take part in a short film to tell everyone about the many benefits of Gilda's Club. The movie debuted on October 25th at Shanghi Red's Restaurant for Gilda's Red Door Breakfast and it raised over $190,000 for the organization.
